Taz and Gomez

All these cute dog pictures
reminded me of my old dogs
and how much I miss them.
Gomez is the one with
the Christmas tree.
Taz is my-picking-up
rocks-from-the-bottom-of
the-canal dog.
He loved water.
What better place to be?
Christmas is a time for memories.

  1. My dogs have been gone too long to miss but I took a great liking to Baby. She is my new favorite dog, but I enjoy watching all the owners walk their dogs out in the patio. We do a lot of dog greeting, too! I guess you will just have to visit your grand dogs, too, when you get lonely for dogs!

  2. Dogs must love Christmas trees. Ours all love to lay in front of the tree but that means when the get up their tails wag the ornaments to the floor.

  3. I like this poem in memory of your favorite dogs. I think of our beloved Tuxedo dog often and Cinder that Jackie Ormend hit with a car when she was learning to drive. Also there was buttoms who people lost on the mountain and it survived three months. LeFair found it and brought the skinny little thing home to me and I nursed it back to health then took it to Salt lake to ship back to it's owners. The night before it was to take the flight it got hit trying to cross a road at my sisters house. It was following her dog which was very traffic savvy. That was at Xmas too as I had a big red bow to tie around it's neck for the flight back to Ohio. Very upsetting ending to a nice story. Harrisom Brian told me 'those people were just not meant to have that dog. I didn't think that was it so his theory didn't comfort me. It was a darling little yorkie terrier with button eyes.
