The Reynolds' family took off this morning about nine. They were all crying, except Drew and he just looked worried. I am definitely feeling the 'empty nest'
today and will in the days to come. I just hope everything works out well and they find the move rewarding and interesting. I told Addie to think of it as a Great Adventure, which it certainly is. People moving is sort of earth shaking no matter who does it or when. We will miss them.

  1. This picture sort of tells the story. Gosh, adventuring is hard, but sounds like Dad is leading the way and the kids are following with some trepidation! But if they never left Panguitch in this day and age that might be limiting. Sorry, Grandma, my kid only moved 35 miles or so north, but I had to get used to him being gone. Took a while. But I knew the great adventure that took him away with his mom would turn out well and it did. Ronda just called all excited because she got a nursing job that interests her!

  2. Great news for Ronda. I hope she likes it as well as she thinks she will. She is already a good nurse. Good things are happening. The main thing about a move is that it breaks up the way you think because so much is new and you need to learn fast. I love that for them.
I am not sorry they moved...I will just miss them like crazy.

  3. Yep it's pretty world shaking but I feel as though they will make good adjustments and it will surely expand their horizons. You have entertained them well and will continue to lavish your love on them from a distance.
